Something I saw

on A BLOG made me think...
They were talking about taking their 18 month old son to the pediatrician and filling out the questionnaire for that child's development.
She realized that they were screening for Autism. My heart goes out to them. I know people that have kids with this. I know about the therapy and I know about feeling hopeless.

Then God reminded me that he can do anything. The people we know used a special therapy and now I believe the boy is going to be in the first grade this year. This child was not interacting with anybody...

Prayer can change things and I am not talking about anything religious here. It's simply talking to god and this can be done everywhere like your car, the shower, even while doing the laundry. Now all you religious types who are upset I just said that please just hear me out. Do You think that you have to be in a church or in a closet to pray. or is God in your heart. Does he not know what you want to say to him before you say it. I believe Christianity is more relationship and less about rules. Rules are there to say that we need him to be perfect. We can't always do the rule thing perfectly.

Please pray for these folks... Like I said we stumbled upon them last week...

Although we don't have autism our hearts do go out to them especially when it is the older child and you are concerned about the younger kids because you have been there and done that.

Be blessed and remember somebody does Love you...
