Barbara's Wedding

*I have a dear friend by the name of Barbara. Andrew and I have known her for about as long as we have been in this area.(almost 12 years) In fact she works with him.
There was a time she and I had a conversation that led me to another doctor that told us to not give up on us wanting to have our own children.
After we had Daniel she staked her claim and loves to watch our kids. Jonathan Loves her so very much. He calls her Aunt Barbara.

This last weekend she got married to a man who really loves her, named George.

I have pictures but due to the fact that we believe the photographer covered the windows with a cheesey looking red film to achieve "white balance" everything turned out RED. I have spent many hours using Gimp and using search engines to see if there was a way to "get the red out".
I have made black and white photos out of a lot but several came out super after making major adjustments after cussing at Gimp's steep learning curve.
I have to personally say shame on the photographer for using that particular color. He could have used blue or even green or even Yellow... I can guarantee a lot of people's pictures didn't turn out in the church.
When we got there; and it took a while because it was out in the sticks a few. 10 miles from the nearest podunk town (one stoplight and the city hall has attached to a tiny post office). Click here for definition of Podunk
We probably got there too early and should have let some of our kids energy out. By the time I decided to take Daniel out so we wouldn't cause a disruption to the festivities it was too late.
We worked our way to the Foyer only to be in the middle of the wedding party lining up to start. I was lets just say a little embarrassed. They got going and all I could say was WOW from the word Go. From the gospel choir to the flowers. It was neat.
One thing that totally got me while I was in the foyer with Daniel was when the Bride (Barbara)came out. She was absolutely stunning, and the look on Daniel's face was absolutely PRICELESS.He recognized her and was stunned. I had tears in my eyes and all I could do was smile at her.(sadly no camera for that moment) This reminded me of our wedding 12 years ago. Andrew actually got a glimpse of her face in this moment.
I watched as her grown son Dontavius walk her down the aisle. Very fitting. She sang a duet with the groom to get her down the aisle. All I could say is if your could feel LOVE and the Lord it was right then. :)
Many other things happened but Here's a Jonathan funny:
Other than Jonathan being excited and tired that day... He did well through the wedding. The reception however was another story but is so cute. We were sat at a table with a bunch of strangers... Many knew the groom. we were okay.
During dinner, Jonathan had to be coaxed out from underneath the table. It was a nice dinner(Thank God for salad and fruit though). Later in that series Barbara and George were cutting the cake in the corner of the room. Joanthan went around the table and started making signs (for camera) and said Barbara :) He was saying to everyone go take your camera and take pictures of Barbara. How sweet is he.
He also loves to dance. It may have looked like he was running in circles but he was trying. So sorry if he messed with your pictures. It so wasn't his intention if you see above. He Loves Barbara and George.

The guy with the Microphone is George. He's a great man ans I'm sure Barbara will be happy with him. I Love you Barabara Williams Pendegrass

Be Blessed
