We had a great appt. The Genetics doc we saw with Jonathan expedited our handling and literally cut through the BS Red tape we've been dealing with...
First we talked to another genetics counselor..she was terrific and we told her everything we knew and she didn't treat us like we were idiots. Quite nice compared to what we've been through. We found out the truth about our OB. He has explicit instructions to follow everything the peri says In His notes. (so superman is smart enough to know he needs to do the right thing so maybe he lost his mind at the last 2 appts) The Genetics doc shut him up with his findings.
He wanted us to have a scan of Sarah... I filled out a appreciation of great service card(aka WOW card in appreciation and the best ecperience my child has been to as a specialist.)
They took a Looong time looking at the heart and brain and all the vessels. So much that it made me nervous.
She is head down but was apparently sleeping. She is indeed a girl but even they had trouble getting her to cooperate enough to get enough of a shot of her face... booger.
She now gets hiccups and feels like she's gonna come out my girl parts but the cervix is closed and long.

We talked to another Perinatologist there and honestly I didn't like her as much as the one we've worked with before. Had to totally repeat our story. I hate that with a passion since in this instance more details are in my chart and apparently some do not like reading patient charts..
We were told she called Dr. S. and he said he wants to personally make sure we are taken care of, and apparently what he says has weight because of his expertise and tenure.. That and he is the associate director of that dept. So we will be seen by him on Nov. 1.(one day before Election day).
I love the way that he had of putting my anxious brain away and producing calmer feelings about everything.. (almost like When Jesus would walk into a situation and tell something to happen and it did Like the storm to be still) I can't wait to go. We will be trying to make our case against NST's because she has become a booger with the doppler..
